  • Originally National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) funded the center for 5 years (1 P01 AT003960) from 2007-2012 and subsequently the key investigator has received funding from other institutes including NIAAA, NCI, and NIDDK as well as from foundations such as the Hirshberg Foundation, the American Gastroenterology Association Foundation and the American Association of Cancer Research – Pan-Can Foundation
  • Center expertise include UCLA campus, LA Biomed Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care System.
