Cores

The Center has four shared core resources. This includes Administrative Core, Animal Model Core, Phytonutrient Core, and Metabolomic Core.  The Administrative Core will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Center programs in fulfilling the goal of the Center. The Core will also provide biostatistical support for all research projects and cores, and the management of research data and shared data function of the Center. The research projects will utilize all our shared core resources. The Administrative Core will also interact and collaborate with key investigators and have access to their available shared resources at UCLA and participating institutions to fulfill the Center’s goal to study phytonutrient mechanisms of action in inflammatory and proliferative diseases of the pancreas.

All cores have shared core resources where other investigators have access to the core functions. Investigators can contact the core director directly regarding their needs and utilization of the core facilities.
